Four Found Dead by Natalie D. Richards *REVIEW*
Four Found Dead
By Natalie D. Richards
I was so excited about this one, I mean a locked in murder mystery in an abandoned mall? Sign me up! Unfortunately for me though I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped. The characters were not really introduced all that well in the beginning so I found myself not really caring when they died. The killer was also pretty much announced at the beginning of the book which took away the element of surprise and it wasn’t super suspenseful in that sense. The main conflict as to why the killer did what they did get like a cop out to me, and, I don’t really enjoy reading about underage relationships, especially when the other person involved is in their 30s.
Overall this one put a sour taste in my mouth and I was really excited for it so that’s disappointing. The only thing I really enjoyed was the survival aspect and the fact that the author didn’t shy away from death and gory details.
