For the most part I enjoyed this one. The concept was cool, how it was mainly a contemporary novel but with bits of sci-fi sprinkled in. I loved the pages of the aliens discussing the pros and cons of saving humanity/Earth and the road trip element. But, some spots of the book felt like they dragged on too much and were too dry to make me want to pick it up again, if that makes sense. Another thing that bugs me is that I was only a fan of some of the characters POV in some instances so it took me a while to finish. Also I kinda hated the ending, it was so unsatisfying.

I would still recommend it if you don't enjoy full on sci-fi too much but still want to experience it a little bit through a genre like contemporary, but the ending might make you want to throw the book against the wall.
