It's been quite a few years since I've read The Giver, albeit I have watched the movie a few times since my first reading and I will say that the graphic novel was pretty enjoyable. There wasn't anything new in terms of the story but I did think, based on what I remember of the book, that the author did a pretty good job with keeping most of the important parts in their rendition. Since this was a pretty quick read I don't have too much to say but I do recommend this one for fans of The Giver if you aren't too keen on rereading the actual book.
